Curriculum Goals for 2006-07
Curriculum Goals for 2007-08
- Finalize and fully implement e-submission process for new course applications and coursechange applications.
- Post a "best practices" page on the Committee's website with examples of well done submissions from a variety of disciplines, and varying types of courses (those with labs, combo in-class and online courses, etc.)
- Work with Academic Policy Committee to start establishing guidelines or standards (the wording remains up for discussinon) of what constitutes a course offered at various levels. For example, how is a 200-level course different from a 100-level or 300-level course? Do we want to set standards for this? Is it within the purview of this committee?
- Assist in developing an "information flow" for programs such that all faculty know what courses have been approved by CurrComm, so they can include them in their advising to students.
