The Center for Student Involvement supports the on-going excitement and development of student organizations, events, and programs throughout campus.  From this support and guidance, the Center for Student Involvement student employees work alongside the professional staff members to create systems, procedures, and policies with the intention of helping UW Tacoma students connect with and find the engagement opportunities they're looking for.  CSI Initiatives develop from collected data, feedback, and evaluations of particular areas that UW Tacoma students provide.  These initiatives are executed by student center coordinators, assistants and professional staff members and concentrate on providing as many opportunities for engagement, involvement, and student enhancement as possible.

Dawg Bones

Dawg Bones was officially launched in Autumn 2020 and provides students with more reasons to get involved on campus by rewarding their attendance at events, meetings, and for fulfilling different opportunities on DawgDen and at the University of Washington Tacoma.  The program was developed in order to provide an extra and exclusive incentive for the process students complete in building time and prioritizing their involvement in different activities across UW Tacoma.  There is an extraordinary amount of value in participating in organizations, attending events, and engaging with as many different resources, services, and people at UW Tacoma. 

The program allows students to collect Dawg Bones by attending and completing tasks on DawgDen, our student engagement platform.  With Dawg Bones, students are able to cash in twice a quarter at teh Dawg Bones Shop to exchange their Dawg Bones for exciting prizes, most of which can only be earned from participating in the Dawg Bones Program!
