Sarah Abruzzini joined Global Honors in Autumn 2018 and completed the Global Honors Program in Spring 2020.
"The Global Honors program really opened up my experience at UW. Without it, I would have just gone to my required classes, done well, got my diploma, and left. With the program, I have increased the value of my education exponentially due to the collaborative format of the classrooms that allow for the exchange of different ideas, the interactive events that increase networking and camaraderie, and learning in an environment that embraces change and new ideas. The GH experience has not only educated me, but has framed my education in a way that allows me to see the radiating effects of what I've learned and has given me the tools I need to make a greater impact in my endeavors."
While at UW Tacoma, she has received the $2000 Bamford Fellowship in Global Engagement (BFGE) and has twice won the IIGE Global Research Paper/Project Award.
