Milgard's STEM MSBA will prepare you to succeed in the data-driven digital era.
This interdisciplinary program is designed for those who seek to sharpen their critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, data/analytical decision-making, digital technology-enablement and project and process management skills. Students will explore innovation as a creative problem-solving capability that is applied to a wide variety of market opportunities and social/institutional challenges. Students will have the opportunity to apply concepts, principles, and methods associated with business analytics to smart digital solutions (e.g. Apple Siri, IBM Watson, Microsoft Cortana, Google Now, and Amazon Echo).
Be part of next-generation savvy business analysts, T-shaped analytical thinkers and adaptive innovators. Through face-to-face classes on Saturdays, and asynchronous online learning, students will gain experience in gathering, modeling, analyzing and understanding data, and building smart digital business models to solve existing problems or cultivate new opportunities, improving the performance of organizations. This work-compatible program provides students with knowledge, tools, and skills to make use of big data. Students are challenged to make effective and efficient business decisions that solve existing problems or create new opportunities, improving the performance of organizations.

Milgard Success Center
Opened in 2017, the Milgard Success Center (in Milgard Hall MLG 101) works with students to think about career paths. From practical professional advice to internships and job placement that fuels career development, the Center gives students the edge they need to launch their livelihoods. It also creates opportunities for alumni to network, develop additional skills and give back to their alma mater. The Center is a major contributor to the Milgard School’s growing reputation as an institution that not only ensures its students a great education, but preparation toward a great career.

Milgard Women's Initiative
In addition, the MWI Mentorship Program is designed for early to mid-career students, particularly those who are the first in their families to attend college and international students, to explore issues women face in their careers and to engage with a mentor outside their usual networks. Mentors are drawn from the community of executive women leaders across the Puget Sound community. While our mentors identify as female, we welcome mentees who identify anywhere along the gender spectrum.
