Simple Meetings
"Simple meetings" are exactly as the name suggests — any small group meeting within a space for a brief amount of time and doesn't require anything else. Simple meetings must remain true to ALL of the following:
- NOT requiring any setup
- NOT requiring any support service
- NOT exceeding 10 attendees
- NOT exceeding more than 4 hours
- NOT taking place after-hours, on weekends, or on holidays
If ANY of the above apply, then it's NOT a Simple Meeting.
Events
Reservations are considered "events" if ANY of the following apply:
- Require ANY sort of setup (this includes a setup as small as 1 lonely table and chair for tabling)
- Require ANY support service: Media Services, Facilities/Custodial, Campus Secruity, etc.
- Includes food
- Include 10+ attendees
- 4 or more hours of space usage
- Take place after-hours, on weekends, or on holidays
ALL events require an EMSA form.
