Meet Brianna!
Major: Psychology
Minors: Global Engagement and Social Science Research Methods (SSRM)
Brianna (Bri) joined Global Honors in Autumn 2019 and is majoring in Psychology.
"The Global Honors Program has provided new ways of thinking about solution-based research instead of problem-based research. While we need to understand the problem, often we end there and fall short on finding viable solutions. This approach and the multi-disciplinary nature of this program have allowed me to look at mental health differently, and I expect this to carry through to my future career in research."
Bri is President of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) On Campus at UWT and a member of the Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology. She has volunteered with United Way, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, Girl Scouts of Western Washington, and the Olympia Family Support Center.
