Whether it be in creative, technical, or community contexts -- compelling writing impacts the world. We offer a Bachelor of Arts in Writing Studies with the choice of three tracks.

Creative Writing
Emphasizes engaged writing in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. Here students will try their hand at learning these elements of craft to explore the literary arts both in and beyond the classroom.

Technical Communication

Rhetoric, Writing and Social Change
Explores writing as civic action. Here students will examine how power shapes writing contexts and develop their own sense of agency within the local and global communities to which they belong.
