For Graduate (Master's) Students
If you are a new graduate (Master's degree) student please:

Register and attend your departmental orientation

About 30 days before your program start date, you will receive an email from ISSS asking you to complete New Student SEVIS Record Activation and the New International Student Information Session (request forms) in the ISSS Portal. You must complete these request forms.
- New Student SEVIS Record Activation: This form notifies us that you have arrived in the U.S. or have been in the US with a valid F-1 visa status. You will need a copy of your F1 visa or Change of Status Approval Notice and I-94 to complete the form. If you are a Canadian citizen, you do not have F1 student visa/status, but we still need to review your I-94. Please complete this request form as soon as you arrive or as soon as possible.
- New International Student Information Session: This form will cover topics like F-1 student visa/status, Healthcare in the U.S., U.S. Culture and U.S. Academic Culture. Complete this mandatory form before New International Student Orientation. The final deadline for this request form will be the third Friday of the quarter.

Register and Attend New International Student Orientation on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, 1:00 to 4:00 PM. We will email more info regarding orientation about 30 days before the new program start date.
For Undergraduate (Bachelor's) Students
If you are a new undergraduate (Bachelor's degree) student who is attending college for the first time or transferring from another college/university, please complete all of the following orientation requirements:

Register for and complete the required online steps for freshman students or transfer students, which is provided by New Student and Family Programs.*
Note*: You won’t be able to register for an orientation session until you pay your New Student Enrollment and Orientation Fee (NSEOF).
