Pack Advisors can enroll in courses during the summer. However, during the summer, Pack Advisors work on average 30 – 40 hours a week (training and events). It is important to keep this in mind as you are balancing school and this role.
Summer: Due to the time commitment involved in being a Pack Advisor during the summer training and Husky Orientation in September, it is recommended that Pack Advisors refrain from committing to other on-campus jobs outside of their role.
Academic Year: During the academic year Pack Advisors can hold additional positions on-campus but cannot exceed a total of 19.5 hours per week between all positions.
All 2022 recruitment activities and summer training are currently expected to be held hybrid (in-person and online) unless instructed otherwise. It is the priority of the Office of New Student and Family programs to keep both staff and students safe by following University and COVID-19 safety guidelines.
