The Strategic Plan Coordinating Committee will be working with a consulting firm to help guide the process of engaging all of our campus community constituencies in determining the strategic direction of UW Tacoma for the next five years, but also envisioning what we will be on a longer horizon.
In particular, their work will involve:
- Reviewing and recommending a consulting firm to help guide us through this process.
- Identifying and engaging your colleagues across campus and the community to provide input and feedback that will drive us toward specific, measurable goals and the strategies that will ensure our success in achieving them.
- Working collaboratively with Faculty Assembly to assure alignment with the academic plan.
- Incorporating the Academic, Strategic, and Financial plans as outlined in the Sustainable Campus Plan.
- Affirming, or altering, the mission, vision, values, and six pillars of our current strategic plan.
- Providing productive feedback throughout the strategic planning process that will keep the process engaging and meaningful and will drive toward a plan that our campus can be proud of.
- Reviewing and presenting a final strategic plan to our campus and community that says who we are, what we aspire to, what our goals are, and how we plan to get there.
