The University of Washington is committed to providing access and reasonable accommodation in its services, programs, and activities. The university partners with the Tacoma Dome to provide these services. Guest accommodation should be noted by your graduate when they register for Commencement, to ensure further accommodation information may be provided.
Parking
Parking Lots E & K are for guests with disabilities and are van accessible. These lots are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Vehicles utlizing accessible parking lots must display appropriate placard, tabs or license plates. All Tacoma Dome lots are wheelchair accessible. The parking fee for Tacoma Dome Parking Lots varies from $10-$30 per parking space depending on the event.

Other entrances will lead to upper floor seating, with first come first, first serve accessible seating. (See Elevators for travel between floors). All guests on the main floor area should be seated promptly before the start of the ceremony. Once procession begins, entry will need to wait until the procession is finished.

Wheelchair/Mobility Impaired Seating
A designated seating area on the main floor of the Tacoma Dome, directly behind the graduating students, has been arranged for guests with wheelchair or mobility concerns. This area is highly encouraged as accessiblity seating in the stands is first come first serve.
Do to space limitations, we ask that only one attendant accompany the guest sitting in this area.
IMPORTANT NOTE: A limited number of wheelchairs are available at entry points to the building. Guests will be required to leave either a valid government issued photo ID or a major credit card as a deposit.
