Global Innovation and Design Lab Awards micro credentials in Design Thinking

The Design Thinking Applied Project digital badge is awarded to students and community participants engaging in the full design thinking cycle on a project, internship, or academic course undertaken by the Lab.

Inaugural NextGen Civic Leader Corps Graduates

NextGen grew steadily from 11 to 34 students during its inaugural year, attracting enthusiastic students from 12 majors. A dozen graduated this Spring. Next year a Student Organization will strengthen connections across UW campuses and 19 universities in the NextGen network.

The 5th Annual Global Engagement Conference on May 22 was a tremendous success with around 200 attendees including over 60 undergraduates across five area institutions presenting research and projects connected to the theme, "Sustainable Solutions for our Interdependent World."
