Avid Husky fan Mark Glenn, '95, '01, chose the nickname Sergeant Husky to honor his father, a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Outfitted in his unmistakable purple tie and vest, gold blazer and purple top hat, he is a familiar figure to UW football-goers.
