Registered Student Organization (RSO) Committee

ASUWT recognizes that Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) are the lifeforce of the UW Tacoma campus. The RSO Committee serves as a dedicated platform where members of student organizations can openly discuss concerns, ask questions, and offer comments on how ASUWT can improve the student experience.

About RSO Committee

Mission: The RSO committee is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where student organizations can access support resources, engage in student advocacy, and find opportunities for partnership. We hope to empower RSOs to support campus life and the broader campus community. 

Meeting Structure: The structure of the RSO committee is designed to be relaxed; agendas are prepared in advanced and distributed to all committee members, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to contribute items for discussion. Simply bring yourself, and be ready to engage in discussions surrounding anything that affects you, your RSO, and/or your overall campus experience at UW Tacoma!


Resources & Support

The partnership with the Center for Student Involvement ensures that the RSO coordinators are equipped to address your concerns and answer your questions, while ASUWT's advocacy efforts can tackle broader campus-wide and/or state-wide issues. Additionally, the committee is here to help promote your RSO's events and initiatives, increasing visibility, and fostering potential campus collaborations among other student organizations!
