Student Affairs Staff Spotlight: Eric Hilldorfer (October 2022)

Nomination: This month, Dawn and I would like to nominate Eric Hilldorfer for the Student Affairs Spotlight Award. Eric works as the Employer Relations Manager in Career Development and Education, where his primary goal is to connect employers with UW Tacoma students, expanding the internship and career opportunities available to them. Eric joined our team at the start of the pandemic and has been a resilient and effective staff member who is also joyful to work with! From recruiting Premiere Partners, to opening large employer recruitment events to UW Tacoma students, to hosting our largest ever Career Fair this month, Eric demonstrates student-centeredness in everything he does. He also exemplifies inclusivity and service and has become a trusted partner to Advancement and academic partners as we cultivate a culture of transparency and collaboration in corporate relations endeavors. We're grateful that he is dedicating his time and talent to the UW Tacoma community!
