How do I advertise a volunteer opportunity on campus?
Our program can advertise your volunteer opportunities, jobs or internships related to nonprofit and community engaged work in the following ways:
- Post your volunteer opportunity/internship/job on our webpage
- Circulate your volunteer opportunities over our student newsletter
- Post your flyers on campus in a physical format
Contact our Husky Volunteer Outreach Coordinator to set up advertising opportunities at hvoutreach@uw.edu!
Accordions don't have settings which need debugging arrow_downward
To have Husky Volunteers advertise your volunteer opportunity, please email our Husky Volunteers Outreach Coordinator (hvoutreach@uw.edu) with the following information:
- A Volunteer Description (in pdf format):
- The name and contact information of the volunteer coordinator in charge of the opportunity
- The name of your organization
- The web address of your organization
- A sign-up form or the name and contact information of the person volunteers can contact to sign up or to learn more about the opportunity
- A schedule or time period the opportunity is available
Generally speaking, your flyer will be featured on our website and on our Instagram. Once we start our newsletter up again, your advertisement will also feature there, and students will get monthly reminders about your volunteer opportunity.

How can I partner with Husky Volunteers?
- Day of Caring: Be a host volunteer site for our campus wide day of service. Receive volunteer service from 10-30 college students for a one day project and exposure of your organization to over 100+ students and faculty. This event will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023. If you're interested in becoming a service site for this event, email huskyvolunteer@uw.edu!
- Monthly Service Events: If you need volunteers for one-time projects consider connecting with our team! We can provide a small group of students who are passionate about your mission. The team hosts monthly service events and your organization could be our next service site! For more information please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at huskyvolunteer@uw.edu.
- UWT Gives: If you'd like to partner with the team for our annual holiday gift drive, please contact huskyvolunteer@uw.edu.
- Volunteer Fair: During the spring quarter (usually in April), our team hosts an on-campus volunteer fair! This is a great way to connect directly with UW Tacoma students, faculty, and staff. If you're interested in participating, please contact hvoutreach@uw.edu.
