Most general assignment spaces follow a scheduling timeline. The scheduling timeline that a certain space follows is based on the type - academic space vs. non-academic space.
Academic Spaces
Academic spaces are scheduled quarterly to give University courses priority. These spaces include: classrooms, computer classrooms and breakout rooms. More information is available on the Space Types page.

- MLG 110 will follow the quarterly scheduling timeline outlined above during autumn and winter quarters since the room may be scheduled by University courses. However for spring and summer quarters, MLG 110 will follow the non-academic scheduling timeline (below) in order to accommodate the high volume of events that occur.
Non-Academic Spaces
University courses are typically not assigned to these spaces and therefore can be scheduled much further out. Non-academic spaces include: conference rooms, indoor event spaces, outdoor event spaces, and building lobbies/atriums. More information is available on the Space Types page.
