Welcome to the Center for Leadership & Social Responsibility (CLSR). Executive Director, Rachel Vaughn, works with our student workers, faculty fellows and board members, we create and promote opportunities for students and community members to learn about leadership.

The CLSR connects our future and current leaders, guiding our students to become socially responsible leaders. One example of this work is the Milgard Women’s Initiative (MWI) which focuses on empowering women, advancing equity, and building community. Lead Your Way

The 2024 Milgard Women's Initiatives Lead Your Way fellowship is designed to empower high school sophomores and juniors in the Tacoma/Pierce County area and equip them with leadership skills, knowledge, and confidence. Open to individuals of all gender identities and expressions.
