AI Community of Practice (Autumn 2023- )
Future
The Office of Digital Learning is working on plans to create further faculty learning communities for instructors across the disciplines. The communities will foster peer connections, facilitate sharing of effective teaching practices, and contribute to conversations on critical pedagogical and institutional topics such as SGID, inclusive teaching, academic honesty, creating classroom learning communities, place-based learning, and more.
For information, watch for announcements to UWT mailing lists and on our calendar. If you are interested in participating, or leading!, a community, or want to suggest a topic for a future learning community, please contact Chris Lott <clott@uw.edu>
SIAS
Dr. Libi Sundermann is working on creating Online Teaching Squares in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, commencing in Autumn 2020. This might include a team specifically focused on science and math.
Additionally, Dr. Sundermann is considering creating a Faculty Learning Community that would meet to consider group readings and presentations.
